Flat-pack furniture is a triumph of logistics that ends with a person on a bedroom floor holding a diagram with no words in it.

This is less a set of instructions about flat-pack assembly than an argument, and it is worth saying so at the start.

Get a second person for anything taller than you, which is a genuine safety point rather than a matter of convenience.
